Nikkita McPherson is currently an Earth & Space Science teacher in the city of Chicago, IL. Prior to teaching in Chicago, Nikkita worked as an education policy organizer, curriculum development specialist, student success specialist, anti-racist educator and facilitator. Nikkita has served as co-director for the New York BADA chapter as well as president of the Afro-American society.

In her free time, Nikkita mentors undergraduates and high schoolers as well as writes and shares her poetry.
