The College has released a statement concerning recent political measures on immigration that are impacting various people around the nation. The College has stated it will continue to monitor the evolving situation, and provide information and support to the members of our community who may be affected.
Additionally, Our BADA President has made the following remarks:
Friends: We are still talking with the other shared interest group leaders, and trying to coordinate with the Dartmouth Lawyer’s association to figure out what our options are for collective action as BADA or with others. But the time to mobilize is now. If you are interested in being added to a list of attorneys that would be willing to help students or alumni with immigration issues, or any of the other legal services students or alumni may need in the near future surrounding political activism (i.e. fallout from protests or activism, LGBT rights issues,) please email dartmouthblackalumni@gmail.com
